Meet Tyler

A fourth-generation Johnson County resident, Tyler Holmes was raised with a strong commitment to hard work and community service. In addition to practicing law in Kansas and Missouri courts, Tyler has used his legal background to expand access to justice and strengthen the delivery of legal services.

Tyler has also been deeply involved in his community, serving as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for two children, sitting on the Blue Valley School Board's advisory committee for curriculum and instruction, and volunteering with Lenexa’s Project 10-20 and Kanbe’s Markets. A graduate of Blue Valley North, Tyler earned both his BA and JD from the University of Kansas, where he also worked at the Dole Institute of Politics.

Tyler is running for State House to ensure our community remains an affordable and safe place to live, work, and raise a family.
